The Goji berry is a small fruit cultivated in China considered as a medicinal fruit.
For the past few years, it has begun to be exported to all Western countries and it has recently become very popular.
The delicious Goji berries originate from China and are naturally rich in vitamins, trace elements and antioxidants. They have numerous health benefits including strengthening immune defences, reducing blood pressure and blood sugar levels, and stimulating intestinal transit.

Συνταγή - Porridge with oat bran and Goji berries Preparation time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Phase: Cruise
Ingredients
- 1/2 L skimmed milk
- 8 tbsp oat bran
- 1/2 tsp vanilla flavouring
- 1/4 tbsp white rum flavouring
- 3 tsp sugar substitute
- 2 tbsp Goji berries
Preparation
- In a bowl, put the Goji berries, 1 tsp sugar substitute, cover with water and the rum flavouring. Mix well and leave to soak for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile heat the milk and vanilla flavouring.
- As soon as the milk begins to rise, remove from heat and gradually whisk in the oat bran. Leave to absorb for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until you obtain a thick paste.
- Add the sugar substitute and adjust if necessary.
- Finally, add the Goji berries along with the liquid they have been soaking in.
You can eat chilled or warm. Enjoy!
